It is about 192 Kilometers drive from Chitwan to Lumbini, it is a scenic drive to Lumbini, when you reach to Lumbini, you will be taken to Maya Devi Temple and stay overnight at your reserved hotel. Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha located at the terrain plains of southern Nepal. The Siddhartha Gautam was born at this place in 623 BC as the Shakya Prince and ultimate Buddha enlighten. After breakfast early in the morning, drive to Tansen which is about 120Km from Lumbini; spend some time and have lunch in Tansen. Tansen is itself is very colorful with its old houses and slopes of landscapes. There are various types of People such as Brahmin, Chhetri, Magar, Newar, Limbu and etc. This place is popular for metal crafts, Dhaka clothes, shawls and caps. Again start driving further to Pokhara, the distance is about 75 Km.

Accommodation is in twin or dormitory at lodges on the trek especially in a peak season, it is difficult to find single/twin rooms in the mountains.
