Rara Lake Trek – 15 Days is a famous trekking trail in Dolpa Region, western Nepal. Rara Lake is the largest Lake in Nepal and it is in the Karnali Zone located at an altitude of 2990m, lake covers an area of 10.8 sq KM. The Rara Laka is 5 Km long and 3 KM wide. The maximum depth of this lake is 167m. They also rear goats and remove medicinal herb and plants to sell them. Thakuri is the well-known society there. The Thakuri Baba temple is the south east corner of the Rara Lake Trekkking.
